Warm, friendly and damn excellent mountainbiking
Had a brilliant time in Spain, seven days over Christmas with Alan, his son Alexis and the guide Josh. Great scenery forests and mountains, sparkling white villages up to 1000m above sea level, but only a bus drive from Fuengerola.
The routes were varied and chosen according to my ability. When I was there I was fortunate to have a guide to myself (I am not confident at techie stuff).
I rode mainly fire roads along the hillsides, but also single track through the hills and forests The instruction I received was first class: Alan, Alexis and Josh are a real set of very friendly, genuine people who were very accommodating and supportive.
Most days we were taken up into the hills by van and then made our way back to the apartment following beautiful circuits.
Alan and his crew were very sociable, each day they chose some ace Spanish coffee shops to stop off at.
I felt really well looked after, picked up and delivered back to the airport, cooked breakfast at nine o'clock, free drinks and snacks all in a clean, simple, but very comfortable apartment, next to the sea and the striking Sohail Castle of Fuengerola.
A top company employing top people, suitable as well for all abilities and inclinations.

Three elderly gents carrying way too much ballast enjoyed a delightful three day trip with the lovely Mary on van duties and Alan as guide. Day 1 along the Via Verdes was a relatively tranquil start to the day and the vultures were disappointed as we all made it to our overnight stop. The hotels on both nights were excellent and the restaurant recommendations spot on. Day 2 was a mixture of up and down, awesome scenery and testing but enjoyable trails. Day three was, for me at least what’s it’s all about, south of Ronda a longish climb to bring us to a spectacular peak. From there a largely downhill mixture of gravel, grit, rock and sand, sweeping downhills and a trail that demanded respect and constant attention through some really lovely woodlands. Alan kindly introduced one of us to a small selection of singletrack he’d found and a day later I’m still smiling. A splendid trip, cycles, cerveza, chums and sun... I commend sierracycling to you, my lovely reader. (One tip, when Alan says “it’s all downhill from here” he’s lying)

We drove a very nice 3 days from Momtellano up to Olvera, Zahara and San Pedro. The route was very good and so were the guides, Clive, Nathalia and Alan. Our businessteam did very well and the stays in Olvera en especially Zahara were great.
Thanks

Cannot recommend these guys & girls enough... had the best week on the best trails with the best guides. There's a reason people come back year after year to this place & that's because Alan & his staff couldn't do more. Great breakfast. Bottomless fridge of beers, spirits & snacks & the best knowledge of the trails in the area... had THE best week I've had on a mountain bike. Cheers guys. Will be back .
Stephen.

Sierra's White Village tour - June 2017.
This was such fun. Blistering heat meant early starts most days, but with great riding and excellent company, who could complain ?
Day 1 was stunning wilderness (with a timely rescue by Alan and Mary in the van when the heat became too much for me).
Day 2 offered beautiful farmland and riverside, including a lovely swim stop, and ended at the best hotel pool in the world.
Day 3 was climbing and descending on loose and thrilling fire roads in unbelievably gorgeous mountain scenery.
And so it went on. Alan, Natalia and Clive were not only great guides but splendid company, as were Mary and Alexis who ferried us about and cooked breakfasts. Thanks to all for an amazing week.
