Good afternoon there Alan, Mary, Ash, and Dave, I just wanted to say a big thank you for having us and shuttling us around all week. We all enjoyed our stay with you. Ash did Sierra Cycling proud with his knowledge of the trails. As for Dave what a legend, his quote of the week was THIS TRAIL HAS A BIT OF EVERYTHING, ITS ABOUT 20 MINS , Thanks Dave the climbs weren’t that bad. We look forward to coming back out for more biking and hiking.
Just got the chance to sit down and write to say thanks to Alan for his organization, Ash and Dave for their expertise, our housemates for their company, and Mary for the best cooked breakfasts in Spain! It was a brilliant weekend.

Couldn't agree more with Edwards post. The trails were amazing and Ash and Dave listened to what we liked and took us to the trails they knew we would love! They knew when they had to point out things for safety and knew when to have a laugh too. They felt like part of the family by the end of the week and joined us for a final meal, top blokes.
Really friendly bunch all round. They welcomed us in Santa hats on Christmas morning (even though we were all being christmas scrooges!) Alan and Mary put on an amazing spread for us at Christmas which was totally unexpected and really generous of them! Thank you!
The House was clean and really close to the beach, job done. The holiday is excellent value for money so I wasn't expecting a palace and it was ideal and as described.
Well just got back from a week with these guys and have to say I loved it.
The trails were mint, a mix of downhill, technical singletrack, flowing singletrack and rockgardens and super flat out ridge lines, tech slick rock and a load of sessioning and riding.
Couldn´t be more happy with the week.
Myself and my four friends were looking forward to a break at the end of the year and had a blast.
The area has some awesome trails and these vary massively, we were in the hands of Ash who was our main guide for the week and as we talked a good game when we arrived he tested us on the trails that he knew to see what we could and couldn´t ride.
Alan and Mary were fine, they both looked after us in the background so to speak which is fine by me. But a pleasant couple.
Oh, and we got picked up at the airport ok, the bikes were packed pretty carefully in the van, the guides had massive tool kits and first aid kit, we had walkie talkies that the last man always carried.
Ash and Dave looked after the riding which was good because both are good riders and they enjoyed riding with a group who could ride fast downhill and tackle all the obstacles they could find.
Fuengirola is a nice place, Malaga is awesome and well worth a day off (which I took) to visit.
I felt my riding improved over the week, and the final day on the downhill tracks was awesome.
Oh and the accommodation was clean and nice, the free beer got nailed and Alan even did a Christmas dinner, which was well appreciated.
Just wanted to say thanks from all of us for last weekend. It certainly opened our eyes to the more technical side of mountain biking on the trails we came across rather than the now seemingly sedate ones we have locally.
Everyone did get positive things about mountain biking from the few days. We all have things to practice and improve, especially with Ash's help and patience, he was a great guide.
The videos do not do the landscape full justice and how fantastic a location it is.
Thanks again for a great weekend.
A big thank you to everyone for one of the most challenging enjoyable experiences of my life! Arriving as the only woman to a group of 15 men was daunting, but I had such a good laugh. The cycling was amazing, Alan tailored the routes to my ability, which was beginner compared to the nutter geordies. Over 5 days I cycled over 150 kms and climbed over 2000ft, which for someone who lives on the Somerset levels was quite an achievement!
I am now inspired to try out more technical trails in the Mendips.
Everything from beginning to end was wonderful: the food from Mary, the guidance and encouragement of Alan, Ash and Dave, and the accommodation which was great. All in lovely surroundings. I intend to come back in March with my Mum so look forward to seeing you all then.
Just like to say had another very enjoyable week!..6th one so far and many more to come:)..Trails were first class as usual, special thanks to ash and dave for all the help i recieved..and thumbs up to mary and her cooking skills in the morning!..
Thanks very much to Alan, Dave and Asf for a top 4 day biking holiday. The welcome and way that we were made to feel included in all the goings on was really unexpected and totally appreciated..even when the encouragement to try new lines and trail types may have appeared to have fallen on somewhat overwhelmed ears.
Would I come back again, I certainly would if only to try some of the hints, tips and skills that Ash and Dave did their best to walk me through on a day to day basis.
Thank you to you all again for 4 of the most challenging, fun and best days I've spent on a bike.
Jon
