We spent a whole week with Alan and Alexis. It was a really great time and we will come back. The guys are really friendly and you are felling really welcome in their house. The trails were perfect for us. It was also nice, that you only have 5minutes to go to the beach :) And there was always cold beer in the fridge ;) I was celebrating my birthday there and it was no problem to make a BBQ in their garden. We stayed for a whole week with Alan, Alexis, Clive and Julian and had 6 beautiful rides with them. Most importantly, it was so nice to stay with them from a human point of view, as it felt like being part of the family for one week with openness and trust but nevertheless also all degrees of individual freedom.
The bike tours covered a good range from panoramic flow trails to technical stony paths. There should be something for everyone and it's customizable. I also liked the composition of trails a lot, having more difficult sections before lunch and ending the days with panoramic and flowy paths towards the mediterranean sea in the afternoon ... followed by a rewarding filled fridge with all kinds of good beverages ;-)
The bike fleet sometimes showed some little issues, but will be replaced very soon with new bikes, as we've learned.
We really got a beautiful mountain bike week in december with Sierra MTB and I'm grateful for having ridden with all the guides and having the chance to get to know them. I would definitely recommend Sierra MTB and the area for a MTB holiday :-)

Fiona and I spent a lovely 4 days with Sierra MTB, met at the airport by Alexis and managed a short introductory ride with the lovely Clive on our first afternoon. The following days of riding were everything we could have wished for on our short break. Rocky single track, blasting through wooded loamy trails and the famous el Moab. Great hosts and great guides to will definitely return. Highly recommended.

I had spent 4 days with Sierra MTB in mid November. Our guide Tom knew all the best trails and perfectly catered the riding to the level of our group. Each day we would drive into the mountains, which took 30-60mins. It was a great vibe in the van getting to know the other guests, when we got to the locations the views were spectacular. As we were in a different area each day I feel like I got to experience a lot of what the mountain range was to offer. The accomodation is situated on the sea front of Fuengirola, so it's easy to find bars and restaurants to enjoy the evenings, or even take a down day on the beach. The weather in November felt surprising warm coming from London, with about 20 degrees each day. All-in-all we had a great trip and would definitely go back again.

Some out of my comfort zone but it's good to push past it but all in all the riding was amazing

Well what can I say but I returned for another week with Alan and the team and all I can say is that I don’t know why it has taken me so long to return . The area is beautiful the location is perfect for everything. They still cater for every level of ability and really go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy yourself and ride as you want to , we had Clive as our guide most of the week and I can’t praise him enough and the most friendly and genuine person you could wish to meet . It is a family run firm who really make you feel like part of the family . Once again thanks for a fantastic week and see you in 2024

A friend and I have just returned from a 3 night, 4 day riding holiday with Alan, Alexis and the guides Tom and Clive at Sierra MTB. What a fantastic team of people and a great set up that made sure our holiday went so well.
The riding and terrain was fantastic (as was the weather!) and the whole set up meant the holiday ran smoothly - we rode every day with 8 other people who were booked on and they tailored the routes and skill level of the rides to suite everyone there. Some days 3 separate groups went off as all the groups wanted something different from the ride that day. It was all handled in a easy, relaxed and enjoyable fashion.
The accommodation was in the centre of Fuengirola and that made it easy to get out and explore off the bike each evening - its quite an interesting town with plenty to see and do.
The transfers to and from the airport were quick and easy (and free!). We arrived at 11am on Friday, we were riding by 1.30pm - top marks, Alan and Alexis!
Did I want the holiday to end? No. Would I go again? Absolutely.
