A friend and I have just returned from a 3 night, 4 day riding holiday with Alan, Alexis and the guides Tom and Clive at Sierra MTB. What a fantastic team of people and a great set up that made sure our holiday went so well.
The riding and terrain was fantastic (as was the weather!) and the whole set up meant the holiday ran smoothly - we rode every day with 8 other people who were booked on and they tailored the routes and skill level of the rides to suite everyone there. Some days 3 separate groups went off as all the groups wanted something different from the ride that day. It was all handled in a easy, relaxed and enjoyable fashion.
The accommodation was in the centre of Fuengirola and that made it easy to get out and explore off the bike each evening - its quite an interesting town with plenty to see and do.
The transfers to and from the airport were quick and easy (and free!). We arrived at 11am on Friday, we were riding by 1.30pm - top marks, Alan and Alexis!
Did I want the holiday to end? No. Would I go again? Absolutely.

Had a super 3 days with Tom our guide. He brought us to the trails that matched out abilities. I think our group was a stronger level rider than the norm. But the lads steeped up and delivered an excellent service and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend. The accommodation, food etc all excellent as well. As ever Alan doesn’t disappoint we had a great trip with great rides with some new ones we hadn’t ridden before. We tried the e-mtb’s for the first time and it made the uphills a lot easier. It’s very relaxing after a days ride to sit by the pool and enjoy a complimentary G&T or whatever your tipple is. Very reasonable cost for what is included to boot

I booked Sierra mtb for a family holiday with my partner and two boys aged 12 and 14. We all ride at different levels but with the option of two different rides each day this was no problem. Everyone had a fantastic time and pushed their boundaries. Clive and Tom were excellent guides and picked really good routes. The riding in this area is first class, with the added benefit of rolling back along the seafront at the end of each day! The accommodation works well too, although not fancy it is comfortable and set in lovely gardens with a really nice swimming pool for an after ride dip. Breakfast every day is perfect to set you up for a big day out. Thanks to Alan, Mary, Carmen, Alexis, Clive and Tom.

We have been going to Sierra MTB for 11 yrs.
Every time is a new experience, fantastic guides and excellent service always looking after their guests.
If good mountain biking is what you want then it the place to go.

I was very happy with the service I received during my stay at the beginning of April 2023. From the moment I arrived to leaving I was made to feel very welcome. The guides Major Tom and Captain Clive were simply the best - friendly and understanding. The rides were fantastic and they cater for all levels abilities. The breakfast provided was excellent with a wide variety of food and drink. The accommodation was great too with UK TV available and a fully equipped kitchen. The complex has a pool and it’s a 1 minute walk to the beach. All in all I highly recommend Sierra MTB whatever your level of mountain biking.

I had a great time with the fantastic guide who really tried to help me push my limits a little bit more. The operations ran smoothly and the lift up with van was 100% needed for sure . The variety of trails are unlimited and there is something for everyone. Will be back next year for sure.

I had some leave to use up before the end of the year so did a last minute booking for a few days. I have been before but not since 2019. Although I came on my own I had a great time - very welcoming and a friendly bunch of other guests. We did some familiar trails but also a bunch of trails I've not ridden before. Ojen was a blast and Malaga Bike Park also great fun. Tom and Alexis were great guides (and chauffeurs). Nice to ride bone dry trails after the recent abysmal weather in the UK.
